DAILY PRAYER. The Bible, that book you may view as rigid and antiquated, clearly states in all so many places that God hears our voice, our requests.
Psalm 18:6 “In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”
Jeremiah 33:3, “3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
Our family is like many; the economy and life has put us through the ringer. Truly, I could wallow, but I’m changing and daily I’ve been praying, candidly, over my husbands shoes, “Lord, keep us on your path. Open our eyes and help us see opportunity. Give us wisdom with our business and faith…”
Take God at His word and expect to see amazing things! Of all things in this world, He really is dependable in every way!
Heart Check: Does God really care about ME? We’ve been trained to be skeptic of the God of the Bible on so many levels. What would happen if you took God for what He says He is? Why not pray? Why not ask? What have you to lose?
Enjoyed todays blog 🙂 hit home. Thank you for being so open, its nice to read the thoughts of another person traveling down a similar path. I sometimes wonder if I ask to much of God and not giving enough in return 🙂
